Conceived as a contextual response to Yarada’s pristine coastline, this beachside eco resort is an architectural intervention rooted in material honesty and cultural continuity. Constructed using rammed earth, treated bamboo, and vernacular techniques native to the Andhra coast, the project embodies low-impact, climate-responsive design. The spatial configuration draws from the traditional courtyard typology, encouraging natural ventilation and passive cooling while fostering communal interaction. Programmatically, the resort integrates flexible pavilion-style units, a community-led coastal food court, and interpretive spaces for cultural Exchange. Aimed at the emerging demographic of conscious travellers, wellness seekers, and local tourists, the resort becomes a platform for socio-economic regeneration. Emphasis on local craftsmanship and material sourcing reactivates traditional knowledge systems, generating livelihoods and reinforcing regional identity. The architecture dissolves the boundary between built and unbuilt, positioning the resort not as an isolated destination but as an ecological and cultural continuum within the coastal landscape.
